You may get an error message like this when starting version 7 if the licence file is corrupted:

To fix this you will need a new licence file. The easiest way to proceed is:

  1. go to the data directory. There is a shortcut to the data directory under Start>programs>powermation>poles 'n' wires
  2. delete licence.dat
  3. restart version 7. You will be presented with the original activation window. Complete it
  4. we will send you a new licence file
  5. send us an email saying you suspect the licence file is corrupted and you have followed these directions
